What the kids were up to this week!

Today I let my kids play with the tangram puzzles. The classroom aid had laminated them and kids were ready for some new toys. However, I found out that there were only enough shapes for one child to work at once so while the rest of my kids were playing around the room I traced shapes out of the foam stuff and created enough for 3 kids to play at one time.

Another activity they love to do that is math related is to play with rubber bands and make shapes. We have lost a lot of rubber bands, but I have been impressed that we have NOT hurt our friends with them.
Another activity that we have done often this week is to color pictures while we wait. I got so tired of the question "que puedo hacer miss. quiero jugar con toys// what can i do Miss. I want to play with toys" every 5 seconds so I spent awhile searching and printing them. The kids love to see their work on the walls and to take it home to their house to show their parents.

You are such a good teacher! Love the geoboards!! What is that word in Spanish? I can't believe you have time to remember to take pictures! Good job! :) Take pics of favorite bulletin boards, projects and student work to use for future jobs later too :)

Politics in schools happen no matter the country!

Love you! Can't wait to see you in two weeks!
